Pricing Plugin

The seven pricing skills behind Critias, packaged as a plugin you can add to the AI agent you already use, instead of installing the app.

Critias does its pricing work with seven connected skills. They are published on their own as the Pricing Plugin, under the MIT licence. If you would rather not install the Critias app, add the plugin to the AI agent you already work in and ask the same questions there.

App or plugin

  • Critias app: runs on your own computer, computes on your files locally, and checks every figure in a reply against the output of a script that ran. Charts show only checked figures.
  • Pricing Plugin: the same skills and pricing knowledge inside your own AI agent. Calculations use whatever tools your agent provides, and the figure check that the Critias app adds is not part of the plugin.

Install the plugin

Paste this into an AI agent that supports plugins, such as Claude or Codex:

Install the Pricing Plugin by fetching and following the instructions at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/critias-ai/critias-pricing-plugin/refs/heads/main/INSTALL.md

Or install it with npm. This copies the complete plugin to a folder you choose:

npx @critias/pricing-plugin ~/plugins

In Claude Code, then run /plugin marketplace add ~/plugins/pricing-plugin and /plugin install pricing-plugin@critias.

The install guide covers each host step by step. Start with the intake skill to save your company context, or ask a pricing question straight away.

The seven skills

Skill What you get Example
Intake Confirmed, reusable company context "Review these policies and propose what to keep."
Analyse Checked calculations and explanations of performance "Why did gross margin fall?"
Scan Data fitness, classified findings and evidence-ranked leads "Find opportunities in this export."
Recommend An action, how to capture it, and the trade-offs "Which leads should we act on?"
Design A pricing strategy or price structure "Redesign our discounts."
Execute A rollout plan with dependencies and readiness "Plan our agreed price increase."
Triage Clarification, routing or a short definition "Where should we start?"

Manufacturers and spare parts

  • "Gross margin fell this quarter. Verify the movement and split it into price, mix and cost effects."
  • "Did our January list-price increase actually realise, measured on the same basket of parts?"

Distributors and wholesalers

  • "Which accounts receive discounts above policy, and which of those have an approved exception?"
  • "Redesign our distributor discounts so volume is rewarded without eroding list price."

Ecommerce and retail

  • "Which products lost margin to promotions last year, and by how much?"
  • "Are any products priced well below similar items in the same category?"

SaaS and subscriptions

  • "What did the April price rise do to churn, compared with the customers who kept the old price?"
  • "Compare customer lifetime value and acquisition cost by channel and sign-up cohort."
